Nurseries:
Bellinger’s has two local nurseries where we grow trees, shrubs and ornamental grasses. We grow approximately 20,000 trees and feature over 100 different varieties of trees. We offer all of the popular, colorful new hybrid trees along with all of your traditional favorites. We also have many specimen trees to be used as a focal point in your landscape,
- We offer large trees so you can have an instant impact in your landscape; small trees that can fit into any budget that you can watch grow; and all sizes in-between
- We offer pick up, delivery, and professional installation
Hardiness:
Our trees are hardy for the Indiana climate and soil conditions:
- Trees are grown right here in Tippecanoe County, so they have already adapted to our weather and soil conditions
- Our trees have been pruned and properly cared for to achieve maximum aesthetics, form, and longevity
- We will not sell a tree that is too immature, too small, or needs additional years in the nursery

SPECIAL FALL TREE SALES EVENT ! ! !
Every year, Bellinger’s hosts one Fall Tree Fest event:
FALL TREE FEST IS THE MIDDLE OF OCTOBER.
2008 Tree Fest:
Friday October 10th - from 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday October 11th - from 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday October 12th - from 11 am to 4 pm
- This sale is held at Bellinger’s Nursery #2 located on Highway 25 South, just 3 miles west of the New 231 & Highway 25 South intersection
- Choose and tag your trees right in the field where they are grown.
- Trees will then be dug when the conditions are appropriate for each individual tree
- Delivery and installation are available and also on SALE
- Planting and Care instructions are provided with each tree purchase
Trees are best dug when the top of the tree is dormant. When trees are planted in the fall, they have the entire winter to acclimate to their new surroundings, which gives root growth a running start in their new location. Roots do not go dormant as quickly as the top of the tree, thus allowing some root establishment over the winter before next year’s growing season begins.
**Special Note** After a long and successful run, we have decided it is in the best interest of our clients and our business to suspend our Spring Tree Sale in 2008. We will continue to sell our trees from our nursery by appointment and offer a spring discount for trees purchased and harvested before April 18th. We will still have our Fall Tree Fest each October. This year our Fall Tree Fest is October 10, 11, and 12. Watch our website for the dates each October. Call our office for a spring tree appointment at (765)572-2241.
